The Doomer is a meme persona, a creation of internet culture hiding behind a mask. It is supposed to be a personal image of the young generation (mine). Videos created in the "life of doomer" style reach millions of views on YouTube, and many viewers see themselves reflected in the doomer character. Are we really like that (am I)? Or maybe we just want to be like that? What is missing for us (me) to truly be a doomer?
